General Information

Fauquier Public Schools is now offering a secure site for current and former students to access transcripts, immunizations, and other student educational record documents, as well as third party requestors requesting employment verification of graduation.

Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student’s written consent.


PLEASE NOTE THE INFORMATION BELOW:

    • Requests for information can be completed online and will be processed on normal business days during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-3:30 PM) unless otherwise noted on our website at www.fcps1.org.
    • You will receive emails from scribonline@scribsoft.com to notify you of the status of your order.  It is important you read those emails carefully as additional information may be required to process your request.
    • For those requesting to pick up records, an official, unexpired photo ID is required such as a driver's license, passport or military ID.
    • Active Military Personnel records request(s) are free of charge. Please email a copy of your active military ID to fcps1-records@fcps1.org and a coupon code will be emailed to you within two business days.
    • Parents/Guardians of Active Enrolled FCPS Students: To request a copy of your child's educational records, contact the student's current school.
    • Click the appropriate link button on the left to request information.

All requests will be checked for accuracy. Any inaccurate information may result in your record not being processed. All communication with regard to your order, payment, or progress, and the records delivery will be sent via email.

ONLINE PAYMENT OPTIONS:
Special education and special services records (i.e., homebound, ELL, gifted/talented, etc.) are only maintained for five years following graduation, transfer, or withdrawal from Fauquier County Public Schools. After five years these records are destroyed in compliance with Library of Virginia policy.

  • Credit or Debit Card. This is a secured option to pay the application fee online with a credit or debit card. No additional fees will be accessed to pay online.
  • Money Order. A money order is to be used as an alternative to the online payment by selecting "Pay by Money Order" at the bottom of the form. Cash and checks will not be accepted. The money order must be made out and delivered to "Fauquier County Public Schools" along with a copy of your receipt or order number. The delivery address can be found in the contact information below. Your order will not be processed until the money order is received.

A $5 convenience fee will be charged per order.

  • We cannot provide replacement diplomas. Please contact your high school Guidance Department.
  • GED: Please contact the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE).
